Renton
Renton is a city in King County, Washington, and a suburb of Seattle. Situated 11 miles southeast of downtown Seattle, Renton straddles the southeast shore of Lake Washington, at the mouth of the Cedar River.
Lining the southeast shore of Lake Washington is Renton, a city with magnificent views of the Cascades and Mount Rainier. Adding to the beauty is Cedar River that runs through the downtown district, and residents are served by Valley Medical Center and a highly regarded Renton School District No. 403. The NFL's Seattle Seahawks have a training facility in Renton, and one of the main employers is Boeing, which manufactures commercial 737 airplanes.
